Do you think that this is a good thesis statement? If not, what can I do to make it better?

The 1920's Prohibition Era caused more harm than good. It gave way to higher crime rates and opportunities for bloodthirsty people like Al Capone and "Bugs" Moran to make millions of dollars off of alcohol sales alone.
