Sister getting married. Say no to bridemaid?

My sister and I do not get along. We love each other but rub each other the wrong way. She does not want me to be bridesmaid in her heart. She might ask me out of politeness/ family obligation. Is it okay to say no. I don't want to be involved in her wedding either. I don't mind being a guest, thats it.
