Spiritually sacrificing: Is it still altruism if you really enjoy doing things for other people?

I have had this discussion before -- In the strictest sense no true altruism can exist as anything other than a concept but it seems something is lost in that There can be no such rigidity so severe as to limit the intent at the time despite the literalism -- You must get a return on your investment even if it is emotional in nature Some flexibility must be introduced to accept the existence in practice as well as in theory
