This question is preventing me from sleeping...?

What is the item called that you see on desks that has several hanging that you can pick up one, release it, and it keeps knocking the on each side. I cannot for the life of me remember what this is called and it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to remember so that I can look up the episode of Beavis & head that it was on, lol!
