I have a mitsubishi lancer es and I'm trying to fix the cigarette lighter but I can't reach the wiring under?

there should be a big cover on your dash that goes over your hud and your stereo. usually if you find the edge and pull on it, it will just pop off. after getting that off, you shoukd have easy access to the ciggarette lighter.
