Another q about black holes....?

Your statement ".. the star's H is exhausted.." points to the answer. If all the star's H is used up there is no more H. The fusion process in the star turns the H into He. Helium is a nonreactive gas, so a star made of helium will collapse in on itself. So the black hole will consist entirely of helium.
